Community Investment Funding

We return most of our profits to the community through grants, sponsorships, and major project support. These funds help build a stronger, more vibrant region — and it's all made possible by people like you who choose to bank with us.

Where the Funds Come From

Every dollar of profit comes from customers using our banking services. That means the more you bank with us, the more we can invest back into Coleraine and its surrounding communities.

Types of Support Available

✅Sponsorships

We sponsor events and organisations by providing funds, goods, or services — in exchange for visibility and support spreading our core message:
“When you bank with us, your money stays here, helping your community thrive.”

Support may include:

• Signage at your events or clubrooms
• Social media promotion
• Speaking opportunities for staff and board members
• Encouraging your members to bank with us

Community Sponsorships are offered as follows:

Applications $500 and under

Applications $501 and over

Round 1 - Opens 1st January 2026 - Closes 5pm, 13th February 2026.

Round 2 - Opens 1st April 2026 - Closes 5pm, 8th May 2026

Round 3 - Opens 1st July 2026 - Closes 5pm, 7th August 2026

Round 4 - Opens 1st October 2026 – Closes 5pm, on 6th November 2026.

✅ Grants $5,000 +

Grants will be offered twice a year and are provided for projects that align with our Community Impact Strategy — promoting resilience, sustainability, and long-term value for the region.

We’re proud to have helped bring major projects to life, including:

• Western District Health Services (Hamilton Campus) MRI Appeal – Improving local access to critical diagnostic services
• Coleraine Hospital Redevelopment – Supporting regional healthcare upgrades
• Balmoral Bush Nursing Centre – Strengthening rural health services
• Balmoral Community Hub – A vital space for local connection and events
• Johnny Mullagh Interpretive Centre – Preserving Indigenous and sporting heritage
• Merino Golf Club & Coleraine Bowling Club – Investing in recreational assets that bring people together
• Hands Up Casterton – supporting our youth in the community

Community Grants of $5,000 + are offered as follows:

Round 1 - Opens 1st March 2026 - Closes 5pm, 31st March 2026.

Round 2 - Opens 1st September 2026 - Closes 5pm, 30 September 2026

How to Apply for Funding

Our process is simple:

1. Read the Guidelines to check eligibility
2. Develop your project proposal and budget
3. Submit your application online
4. We’ll contact you with the outcome
5. Successful applicants sign an agreement
6. Funds are released upon receipt of invoice or banking details
7. Deliver the project as outlined
8. Submit your final report and impact story

Tip: Apply well in advance. Funds are only released after formal approval and a partnership meeting. You will be notified of the outcome of your application within 5 weeks of the program close date.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

• Your organisation’s contact info
• Project details and budget
• Any partner information including their letter of support and financials
• Supporting documents including quotes and financials where required
